André Lacroix
Chief Executive Officer
Appointed to the Intertek Board as Chief Executive Officer in May 2015. André is an experienced Chief Executive with a strong track record of delivering long-term growth strategies and shareholder value with global companies across diverse territories. André was previously Group Chief Executive of Inchcape Group plc from 2005 to 2015 and prior to this he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney S.C.A. From 1996 to 2003 he was the President of Burger King International, previously part of Diageo. André was formerly the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc.
Colm Deasy
Chief Financial Officer
Appointed to the Board as Chief Financial Officer in March 2023. Colm Deasy joined Intertek in 2016 as our Group Treasurer before then adding the Tax Director role. He was then our Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific and before his promotion was President Global Transportation Technologies, Building & Construction and People Assurance. Prior to Intertek, Colm worked in banking and Insurance in EMEA, before coming to the UK to take up senior roles in finance and general management.

Laura Atherton
Group General Counsel and Head of Risk and Compliance
Joined Intertek in March 2023 and has responsibility for Intertek's legal, risk and compliance functions. Laura has had an outstanding career both as a practicing lawyer and in corporate environments. Prior to Intertek, Laura was the General Counsel for the Global Health business of GSK plc and has held several senior positions including as VP Pharma Commercial Compliance Officer at GSK.
Alexandra Berger
Senior Vice President Chief Marketing & Communications Officer
Joined Intertek in May 2023 and is responsible for the global marketing and communications function for the Group. Before Intertek, Alex was Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Board of Arco Ltd, a leading supplier in the safety industry. Alex has held several senior roles in world class organisations including Unilever, Diversey Care, Rexel and RS Components. She has a master’s degree in economics and an MBA in International Marketing.
Laura Crespi
Group Financial Controller
Joined Intertek in 2023 and leads the Group Finance and Reporting function. Before joining Intertek, Laura spent twelve years at RELX plc and held a variety of commercial and reporting leadership roles within finance. Laura began her career at Deloitte LLP, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Sandeep Das
Regional Managing Director South Asia and President Global Softlines and Hardlines
Joined Intertek in 2012, currently responsible for Global Softlines & Hardlines businesses and Intertek’s operations in South Asia. Prior to his current role, he served in senior business and management roles at both country and regional levels. Before joining Intertek, Sandeep held several senior management and board-level positions at Tetley in Europe and Colgate-Palmolive in Asia.
Ayush Dhital
Regional Managing Director Asia Pacific
Joined Intertek in 2014 and is responsible for Intertek’s operations in Asia Pacific. Prior to assuming his current role, Ayush has held several senior operational and strategic leadership roles in Intertek including most recently leading our Assuris Global Business Line. Before joining Intertek, Ayush worked at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in investment banking focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions and at PwC in financial services. Ayush is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
John Fowler
Senior Vice President Minerals and E&P
Joined Intertek in 1985 and is responsible for the Minerals and Oil & Gas Exploration and Production business lines. John worked for Intertek as an analytical chemist in the New Zealand laboratory before moving within Intertek taking on various leadership roles in Australasia, Africa, North America and South East Asia. Before joining Intertek John previously worked for Rohm & Haas and T.J Sprott & Associates.
Ian Galloway
Executive Vice President, Caleb Brett
Joined Intertek in 2011. Ian is responsible for our Caleb Brett Global Business Line. Prior to assuming his current role, Ian was responsible for Middle-East, Africa and Global Trade comprising our business lines of Government & Trade Services, Cargo & Analytical Assessment and Agricultural Services, and previous to that held senior finance and business roles within Intertek. Before joining, Ian held international roles in finance management with BG Group in the UK, Egypt and Tunisia. Ian is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Tony George
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Joined Intertek in 2015. Tony is responsible for Human Resources. He has more than 37 years' experience in HR, General Management and Business Development having held senior leadership positions in international FMCG, chemicals, telecommunications and retail companies including Vodafone plc, Starbucks, Diageo plc and ICI. Prior to joining Intertek, he was Group HR & Business Development Director at Inchcape plc.
Marie Giannini
Vice President Communications and Head of Sustainability
Joined the team in 2018 and is responsible for Group Communications and Intertek’s Sustainability Excellence programme. Before taking up her current role, Marie was Group Corporate Communications Director, and previous to that led on Brand for the Group. Marie joined Intertek from Inchcape plc, where she was Head of Group Communications. Previously she held communications roles at Swiss Re Group in London.
Bertrand Mallet
Executive Vice President, Industry Services
Joined Intertek in 2021. Bertrand has responsibility for Industry Services. Prior to joining Intertek, he was Chief Development Officer at Inchcape plc, in charge of business development and global manufacturer relations, mergers & acquisitions, corporate strategy and digital transformation. Prior to this, he was CEO, Toyota Belgium and has also held the positions of Managing Director of the Emerging Markets. Bertrand previously spent over six years with Euro Disney, and prior to that spent five years as a senior consultant with Bain & Company.
Ross McCluskey
Executive Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Government and Trade Services
Joined Intertek in 2016. Ross is responsible for Intertek’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the GTS business line. Prior to assuming his current role in 2021, he served on the Intertek Board as Group Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Intertek, Ross spent five years at Inchcape plc, where he held senior operational financial positions, including Finance Director of Inchcape’s Australasian and UK businesses. From 2002-2011, Ross worked within the investment banking sector, specialising in mergers and acquisitions.
John Qin
CEO Greater China
John joined Intertek as a Quality Engineer in 1998 and is the CEO of Greater China. John has held various senior positions including the VP of Global Quality Engineering, VP of Outsourcing Services, SVP of Global Hardlines and SVP of Great China. Prior to Intertek, John held various engineering positions in the USA auto industry.
Saranpal (“Sunny”) Rai
President Electrical, Connected World and Transportation Technologies
Sunny joined Intertek in 1986 and has held various roles in engineering, sales leadership and operational management for the Semiconductor, Renewable Energy, and Industrial product businesses. Sunny holds a B.Sc. degree from University of Delhi, India and a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, from San Francisco, California. He has been the Co-Chair of International Compliance & Regulatory Committee (ICRC) at SEMI and a founding member & leader for IECRE Renewable Energy scheme at IEC.
Julia Thomas
Senior Vice President Corporate Development
Joined Intertek in 2013. As SVP Corporate Development, Julia has responsibility for Intertek's acquisition and disposal activities. Before joining Intertek, Julia spent 12 years in investment banking with J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Rothschild, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions.
Mark Thomas
Executive Vice President, Global Sustainability, Assurance, Agri World and Food
Joined Intertek in 2015 and is responsible for Sustainability, Assurance, Agri and Food business lines. Prior to taking on this current role, he served as Group General Counsel, responsible for Intertek’s legal, risk and compliance functions. Mark joined Intertek from Inchcape plc where he was Group General Counsel and previous to that was in private practice with Slaughter and May.
Carlos Velasco
President Latin America and Global Building and Construction
Joined Intertek in 2002, and currently responsible for the Global Building & Construction Business and Intertek’s operations in Latin America. Prior to his current role, he served in senior positions in management, operations, sales, and IT within Intertek. Before joining Intertek, Carlos worked for IBM and other private companies in Bolivia.
